Windsurfing Accessories
Windsurfing accessories can be found anywhere windsurfing supplies are sold. They are equipment that is not absolutely necessary for riding but can make the process easier or safer. Items such as foot straps can easily be changed for certain riders preferences. They can be fully enclosed or merely a padded strap.
Other windsurfing accessories are used to transport the rig to and from the water source. Roof straps and roof racks make it possible for any vehicle to transport the unwieldy boards and sails. A board bag protects the rigs from the elements and a stiff one is great for airline travel and shipping purposes.
Some windsurfing accessories are used while surfing. Water proof cameras can be affixed to helmets, masts, booms and even the board it self. Wind computers can gauge the wind speed, track locations and provide other information such as time. Rig tools are used to change the mast, boom and board equipment. Sex wax, as fun as it sounds, is actually to give the rider better foot grip on the board and comes in warm and cold water configurations.
