Windsurfing Kits
Windsurfing kits are a great way to start windsurfing. They include all the required equipment, everything besides qualified instruction. The set includes a surfboard with a hole for the mast and a keel. The size of the board varies depending on the skill of the rider as well as what style of riding they prefer.
Windsurfing kits also include the sail and mast. Each board has a hole in the center where the sail attaches. The sail can rotate in the hole to allow the rider to switch sides for direction changes. The boom attaches to the mast and provide the area for the rider to hold on to. The pull-up lanyard also attaches to the mast or boom.
Some windsurfing kits also include a wetsuit for riding in cooler waters. Most water is too cold for prolonged stays in the water so wetsuits are commonly used for warmth. Other gear included often includes a bag to transport the equipment and an instructional DVD.
